The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program at STLCC is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve on the Wildwood campus. This position is a full-time faculty, continuing position, set to begin in Spring 2025. The new hire will be made at the level of Instructor II or Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with community college teaching experience in the profession of MRI and those possessing a graduate degree. The new MRI Program faculty member will be expected to teach and mentor students, fulfill administrative duties within the MRI Program, obtain and maintain programmatic accreditation, and serve on departmental and campus committees. They will assist the Program Coordinator to assure effective program operations, and maintain current knowledge of program/clinical policies, procedures, and student progress. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques that help students develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of MRI to the community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment. |

The English Department/ESL Program at STLCC is seeking a part time, temporary ESL Adjunct Instructor to begin in January- Spring 2025 semester teaching assignment will be at the Florissant Valley campus, but with the possibility of additional classes at Meramec or the Forest Park Campus. Preference will be given to those with community college experience in teaching English as a second or third language. The desired candidate will have a Master’s degree or higher in TESOL, Linguistics or other related field. The new ESL temporary faculty will have experience teaching academic writing, low intermediate to advanced grammar and English listening and pronunciation skills. The successful candidate will be confident using technology and practice varied teaching techniques. The new temporary adjunct faculty will reach students where they are and guide them to the next level of English in the four skill areas. |
