The Department of Arts and Communications at St. Louis Community College, Florissant Valley is seeking a highly qualified candidate to teach foundations drawing classes. The successful candidate will teach Drawing I, with possible opportunities to teach Drawing II and figure drawing courses. The candidate must have a Master of Fine Arts degree in a studio art discipline, strong observational drawing skills and a minimum of two years of experience teaching at the college level. District-wide Support Technician I District-Wide
Under general supervision, in a 12/5 in-bound call center and walk up support environment, Support Technician I will provide technical and network problem resolution to end-users (customers) by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. The position requires providing direct technical customer support via telephone, chat, email, remote tools, or in-person at walk up desk locations. Including, but are not limited to, resolving authentication problems, basic software support, verifying proper hardware and software set-up, power cycling, navigating college applications, print related issues, and troubleshooting email issues. Support will be provided in a user-friendly, professional manner. Technicians will perform other related work as required. Please note the walk up locations are on the Flo Valley, Forest Park, and Meramec campuses.
Healthcare Instructor - Nursing Assistant Training Forest Park Campus
Workforce Solutions Group (WSG) division is in need of a Part-time Instructor to instruct course material related to the Patient Care Technician healthcare training program. Instructional hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and include lecture and skills lab instruction. Instructors hours are flexible and can vary from 8 hours to 30 hours weekly. Training occurs at all locations including Corporate College, Forest Park, and William J. Harrison Education Center.

This is a District wide position- As a Federal work-study student you will be in a supportive role providing assistance as needed depending on the assigned department. These jobs are considered financial assistance and have limited funding. Students who have not completed the FAFSA and enrolled cannot be reviewed for eligibility or placement. Eligible candidates will be hired on a first-come first serve basis and requires all documentation listed on Banner Self-Service be turned into financial aid. There are a variety of departments to choose within the college.

Implements student evaluation procedures by consulting with Director of Testing on the selection of appropriate placement and other testing procedures; develops testing program which assists students with understanding/utilizing a variety of proctored testing requirements for online, hybrid flexibility, and other course modalities. Assesses and maintains the effectiveness of the Testing Center and services provided in reference to the National College Testing Association's statement of guidelines and standards and the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. Works in collaboration with the Online Education department, faculty and remote partners to develop and determine appropriateness of remote proctored testing sites.
Childcare Teacher I or II Florissant Valley Campus
The CDLC at Florissant Valley is hiring for Childcare Teacher I (requires Associates Degree) and II (requires Bachelors Degree). performs duties necessary to teach and care for infant through Pre-K children and provide support and constant communication with families. Performs duties necessary to train and supervise college students while providing on-site instruction; assist college students to achieve educational objectives referred by the academic departments (specifically Child and Family Development).
